We're proud to release the first screenshots for Hinterland! One shows the lord character and other party members in town, preparing for their next adventure. The other screenshot depicts an attack on an ogre lair, where the monster is protecting his valuable loot.

In Hinterland, you build up and lead a small village, populated by simple townsfolk struggling to survive and prosper in the wild back country of a medieval fantasy world. Leading small parties of adventurers drawn from the ranks of the townspeople themselves, you undertake quests outside the village, seeking to conquer various foes, and collect treasure, magic items and knowledge which will, in turn, fuel your village. As your village becomes stronger, you'll forge your own weapons, manufacture magic items and potions, and tame the wild land. IT'S FULL STEAM AHEAD FOR CHILDREN OF THE NILE - ENHANCED EDITION!
It's been a bit of a wait, but Children of the Nile™ - Enhanced Edition is now available for purchase on Steam! We're thrilled to be able to bring CotN directly to gamers in this way, and to be able to maintain the kind of connection with our audience that has always been at the heart of the PC gaming experience. If you already own the original CotN, you can get the enhancements for free from our site.
We've also created a new game demo that features a "quick start" learning scenario, allowing new users to jump right in and start building Egyptian cities, while also showing the new features of the enhanced edition.
Tilted Mill remains committed to the CotN franchise, and will continue to develop the series in the coming months. Until then, enjoy the enhanced edition!
