Hi Y'all
I'm having a problem with my mouse flickering and even showing a white line flicker. I just updated the mouse a month ago. I have all the setting in the game turned down. I can still play (barelY) everything else works just fine.

Try enabling the in-game Video Sync option under Settings/Video.

If you have full screen anti-aliasing enabled you may want to try a lower setting or none.

Also you may want to try reducing any mouse acceleration you are using. You should be able to do this from the Control Panel MOUSE utility.

Also you can try lower the hardware acceleration on your system and see if that helps. (right click the desktop in a blank area, select Properties, click the Settings tab, click the Adanced button, then click the troubleshoot tab. The accleration slider control is located there.)

Thanks gentlemen.

I did the second two things that Keith said to do(seems a little better) but I need help with the first two (English please:D )

Phil, should I send my resolution down into the 800 range?

My video settings are all very low in game settings; is that what he means???

Nah, 1024x768 should be low enough, but you can try lower if you want to. You might even want to try the 16-bit setting while your at it.

"PHIL WILL SAY: No!!

Now your settings are Current Mode: 1600 x 1200 (32 bit) (60Hz)...........Phil means to set them on 1024 X 768 16 bit

True! Fantastic! Completely right!
Still Keith.........I think that Catty 6.9 wouldn`t do any harm to the card. :D

Well, she could try. I wonder if the DH Mod tool (http://www.driverheaven.net/modtool/) would help here.

First...I am surprised about your sudden drumming for the modtool now. You used to deny "third-party-stuff" to me a year ago.
Second..........the modtool is ONLY for graph-CHIPS in notebooks, NOT on desktoppers.............
And ONLY for ATI Mobility-stuff...........

I could not say if that Gateway System Model: E-2000 is a notebook. ?!?

You guys are the very best!
My card would not accept 6.9 BTW.
I did download and install the other drivers Keith pointed me to and the Roman pointer finger is solid now.

Furry cat kisses to all; I'm off to rule the world!

Manni the newer Ati drivers can disable some features in the older Ati cards:rolleyes: If you can get the driver dated January 2006 file number 6.14.10.0309 should work.
