I installed C4 on my system hoping it was going to play fine. Unfortunately as i first start the Kingdom Campaign, and i place the very first building, my comp hangs for a second than restarts.
Specs are AMD 64 X2 3800+, Asus mobo, Asus ATI X1900XT 512mb DDR3 Vid card, 2 gigs of ram, playing on 56 inch Samsung 1080p HDTV. Any other game works without a problem (even Obilivion) but for some reason C4 does not want to run. I just built this system about 3 months ago and have not had problems with it until now :( At first i thought it was because the game didnt like running at 1920x1080 but i even turned the game down to 1024x768 and it did the same thing. I also have the mulitplayer patch installed for C4. The only thing i can imagine is that i have page filing turned off because F.E.A.R ran a lot better with it off than on and no other games have complained about it.
UPDATE!
I turned page filing back on to see if that fixed the problem. What happens is i place the first building and if i dont move the mouse or screen the game will run fine but as soon as i move the mouse or the screen i get this BSOD

ANOTHER UPDATE!
As i wait for responses from anyone having any insight on this, i went and tried to play the start of the campaign instead of the tutorial. For some reason it let me play but just for a little bit. I am able to now place insulas in the regular campaign but when i go to place the medium houses, it crashes the same way with the same BSOD. I have no idea what is going on. Windows is all up to date, all drivers are up to date, i de-fragged and cleaned up my hard drive. I guess if worst comes wo worst i will have to reinstall windows.
any help please?
