reinstall of C4 corrupted my saves

I have the trade bug issue. I have tried every tip trick recomendation listed by the helpfull tech guys/gals. One thing made matter worse in a way. After I unistalled and reinstalled C4 the save game files are invalid. Not that i have lost much progress. I am presenstly stuck in Coralis fighting the Trade bug. http://www.websmileys.com/sm/comp/comp26.gif

PhilL you have to move your saves to a safe place on your computer away from where the game was installed when you want to do a clean reinstall of the game. Then you should be able to copy and paste them into the newly created saved games folder.

Also if these saved games were from the game that had been patched, then make sure that after you reinstalled the game then you applied the patch to it otherwise the saved games might seem corrupt to the game since it's really not the same version until it's patched again.

I dont know if you reapplied the patch or applied the patch in the first place, just making an observation on limited information provided.

Mouse I did do that .
Kuplo thx forgot about that.:o not used to patching a week old game. I will try it and let you know.
Need to patch thx. Also FYI saves made on unpatched verion do work on patched version
