i want to ask something that.....

when i click the house, the city advisor said lack of labour.
but in the house of resident, they said not enough work around the area....

Keep in mind that "Equites" and "Plebs" work in different buildings. "Plebs" work in agriculture and industry. "Equites" work in city service buildings.

There are three types of housing in the game. Plegs that live in insulae that do the meneal work like farming, working factories, etc. They have their own labor control chart. Then there equites, these are the middle class educated workers that run the entertainment, become doctors, operate the pump house/aqueduct/reservoir and fountains, etc. They also have a control chart on the labor advisor menu to the right of the plebs.

You can pay the plebs and equites different pay rates. You can have plenty of plebs but not enough equites and get the more labor needed message.

The third type of housing is the patrician domus, they don't work. They pay a lot of taxes, but also demand a lot of food, goods, exotic and luxury items.

But while i build near the industry area....they say land value low....

They don't have to live right across the road from industry, your people will walk to work as long as they distance isn't too great.

Don't build your industries too close to housing. You don't need them too close because people don't need to be too close to their workplaces. But if you do need to build industry very close by, then you can increase the land value of a place by building gardens next to your houses or simply cover nearby roads with plazas. :)

The not enough work around refers to the whole city. Luckily workers are able to take any job on the map apt for their level (either plebs or equites).
