[Posted for beginners to use as an aid in realising a functioning city]

I knew when I first opened the scenario it was going to be a walk in the park. I was right.

Culture 88
Security 100
Prosperity 96
Favour 88
Population 3020
Denarii 50,000 ish

The city in the save game is self sustaining, bar having to stockpile for rome's demands and "buying off" barbarians..

I could have had 100 Prosperity, however to increase culture I had to house more equites, which bought the balance down slightly. I'd rather have 88:96 than 80:100 - Everything is "maxed" though.. The screenshot is a result of my extended play - it really took me about 2-3 years...

It's not a beautiful city - but it works...

I also found this a fairly easy scenario. While I did not attempt to maximize all scores (as I will do when I finish the campaigns), I feel that it is worthy of being shared.

I don't understand how people manage to fit so many patricians in.. I'm trying to get my head around that in the carthage scenario..

I just started working on Condate, but it is intriguing that so many of you max out your higher level housing. Guess I lean more toward a Grumpus approach and usually end up with minimal housing. The other reason is I am very 'challenged' at building city walls that actually work, so I try to keep the cities small for that reason :-P.

Should be done with Condate soon (hopefully), I'll post some screenies of a smaller city just for comparison.
