So far, I have been on the defense. Do you ever get to go on the offense? I am not sure if I want to considering how many soldiers I lose when Caesar controls them but at least I would have the option.

no, but sometimes Caesar will ask for help from a cohort or two from your city. :D

Welcome to our family, Mercury! :)

I think we do (http://www.tiltedmill.com/forums/showthread.php?t=10572)! It is just a hunch, though. (Don't tell anyone) ;)

Thanks dude.

Interesting post. The whole reason I brought this up was I had something similar on the first map on the Empire campaign. My city was surrounded by four or five enemy enemy camps, who kept sending invasion parties (sometimes more than one at a time). Was wondering if you could conquer them and make them pay tribute like in Zeus (and Pharoah?).

You won that Scenario & couldn't invade them, Mercury?

That's not good news! :(

Yeah, couldnt invade anyone. Tried looking everywhere for the option to invade... nada. I had a decent army too.

In patch or expansion?
Little early to be hoping for an expansion isnt it? lol. I dont think Tilted Mills has any intention of letting us start fights. Shame, even though fighting wasnt ever a focus for these games, it was a change of pace when you felt like it.

There are other Scenarios in the Empire campaign (hope ~ hope!) [Dratz, no crossed-fingers icon]

Nope. Devs work (or are at least thinking) on Expansion as soon as the game is released (& bugs of course).

Expansion list so far (Scratch any already in C4):

Triggered Empire Level ala COTN
Construction ala COTN
Zeus like Diplomacy ~ Vassalizing (including us by Rome), Raiding & Conquering
Earthquakes leave unbuildable rips in the terrain

I dont think Tilted Mills has any intention of letting us start fights.

TM made C4 for the C3 Cultists. We start fights in COTN. They can make C4:2 for the rest of us.

Fighting has been in EVERY CB game & ALSO is in C4. What are you talking about, Mercury? :)

The possibility of destoying barbarian camps would be great, but I don't think is part of the game right now.

Aren't these maps small enough? There already is plenty of areas in these maps we can't build on. I don't want anymore.

Great news! Some of you are hoping for an expansion? while others have nothing but a demo. I would say it is a little early but you just go ahead...

We city builders have the habit of planning ahead.
