I am just wondering if anyone who has the Nvidia GeForce 6600 that is running the game and not freezing and/or rebooting?

I have an nVidia PCI exp 6600, 256 mb and I have no problems so long as I turn shadows off

I have the nVidia 6600 agp 256mb and I am locking up left and right. Nobody can figure out why I keep having these issues. I have just noticed that a lot of the 6600 are crashing within the first 5-10 minutes of running the game. I have read of 4-5 people with the same exact freezing/ rebooting issue that have this card. in the games manual, it said the game was tested with the geforce 6 series.

I am one of those that are freezing I too have the 6600 agp 256mb card. Have tried EVERYTHING to get this to work and it wont I also noticed alot of us have a dell also.

I called tech support again and they told me I needed to unistall the game and reinstall it again to see it that would fix anything. I think I have had the same guy the last two times. I am starting to doubt that he knows much about the game itself.

Can someone tell the only things you should have on in your msconfig. I have turned off most everything that I know will not hurt turning off. Isn't there about three different things you need to leave on? It has been a while since I have had to turn off all my background stuff. I generally turn off a few things, but I am going to try to turn off everything I can to see if that will work.

Tried that also turned off everything still did same thing. At this point have to think it is something in the game. Something loading or trying to load at three minutes into the game. Tech's anything you can think of? Maybe the game is trying to access something at this point of the game maybe the cd rom or memory??
