??

I got that at the end of a map. Thats either a bug or I inadvertently cheated. How can I inadvertently cheat, are the cheat codes that easy to accidentally type in?

YOU CHEAT!!!!

Um, unless you modified something in your files, then the only other way you could have cheated as far as I know is by pressing Enter, typing in the cheat code then pressing Enter again..... the potential for this to happen at random must be similar to 40 chimps at typewriters accidentally typing Shakespeare's complete works..... ok, perhaps a little higher chance than that!! :D

I get it on every win screen because I had to do the trade route workaround.

I suspect that the game will give you that message for any changes done to the newconstants file...maybe other files as well.

Someone has posted that they fiddled with the slope restriction to build on the hills. I think that would do it, too.

You're a funny guy :P

Anyhow, I did change that one file in the data directory.

You know that file that I need to change to actually play the game otherwise it hangs at the trade route screen? :O

I changed a variable from 1 to 0 and I fixed a bug. Looks like the game detected that file was changed and will henceforth call me a cheater everytime I finish a scenario, correct?

If you used nero's fix for the trade bug you will get the you cheated message.

Unfortunately correct.... but you know you aren't so, until they get a permanent fix out, that's the best you can do!
