Caesar IV very slow in game play

Hi, I'm playing the Demo bundled with PC Format magazine, but the game is sooo slow I've to uninstall, here's my specs Athlon 2.2 mhz, 1gb ram, 256 graphics - can't work it out even increasing the priority to High in Task Manager makes no difference, any ideas?? Caesar III is a great game but IV looks even better and I'm really disappointed that I can't get it to work on my pc :o

If you please attach your DxDiag our techies are able to tell you a lot more. It can be as simple as a driver thing...

The demo was/ is and unoptimized version. The full game does run better. As stated your dxdiag may reveal something to improve the demo for you allowing you to better judge if you would like to buy the full game.
