Validation Email?

I keep trying to get the Caesar IV online to send me my validation email to my email account and it doesn't ever show up. I've checked my regular email and my spam folders and nothing. I would like to try the online mode out, if it is still available.

What's the deal with that?

Is this a problem with AOL emails?

I have had the same problem with some emails from Sierra.com myself in the past on AOL. Not much you can do there, AOL seems to want to filter them out before they ever get to the spam folder.

Since I moderate on the Sierra boards, I can pass along the required info to the admins there and maybe they can get you registered.

I've had the same problem here, I think its just really very slow

So I guess it is a hotmail issue? I changed the e-mail to my yahoo, and it was there within seconds, but with my hotmail it never came, not even to my junk mail box

I know that in general, people cannot use hotmail accounts to register on the Sierra Commuity Forums. A large number of "free email" sites are banned from the registration process, because of spammers and troublemakers in the past.

I don't know if this is the case with the Caesar IV online account registration or not, but I would not be surprised. At any rate, the admins at Sierra have his AOL email address.
