Ok, so the article in Games For Windows magazine makes me wonder if a Mac version is on the horizon? I know it may be too early to answer, but I don't want you guys forgetting those of us with pretty little white boxes :P

You already have a copy of the magazine?
Would you mind telling me whats on it?
And I'm sure a mac version will be made if the game becomes a hit like the sims and simcity 4

The fact that the newer Macs are Intel based means that all that should be required for a Mac version is a recompile for OS X...The base programming would not need to be altered in any way...In any case, us fortunates with Intel Macs can always boot into XP to play the game, so a Mac version, while nice, is not necessary.

The first Intel Macs only went on sale last year, if the game is "Intel only" millions of people with PowerPC Macs won't be able to play SCS. But okay, not supporting PPC Macs would be understandable (cost of development, etc.)…

Now, without a native Mac OS X version on Intel, I think the developer would fragment the potential target audience even more. From what I understand the game will be more family-oriented, these people won't boot into Windows to play games. A native Mac OS X version would make perfect sense, if the development costs are not too high.
