How to destroy stuff
Editor 3.scn
Of course, this is the first thing after completing Matt's Lessons that we wanna learn, correct? :D
This simple blank Editor map with 8 villagers has all the triggers.
You have to make the OBJECTS first, then the Conditions & Effects, then the triggers last, when designing. I'm sure the Pros will jump in here & add some very kewl additions, corrections, hints & tricks.
Five or more Pottery Shops destroys the Palace. Remember that you have to go through the servant/farmer stage to get common shops.
Five or more Nobles destroys the Nobles
I also have a popup message for each incident to show how that is done. No looping checked on the destruction triggers, so it only happens once. We don't wanna keep destroying them. ;)
Remember that this is a blank map. Place Palace, 4 servants, 6 dedicated pottery shops & 9 Nobles (at least the required five of each to fire the triggers) on pause, then let it rip. People begin to get upset pretty quickly so don't take too long... ;)
After testing it by placing in your scenario folder, load it up in the Editor & see how this rookie did it. :)
EDIT: If you are wondering why the "Editor 3.scn", it is cuz it is number three.
Editor 1.scn was my first map here (http://www.tiltedmill.com/forums/showthread.php?t=13333). All villagers, resources, mines & quarries and a pitiful river/flat map for a good scripting test map. You just need to add the World Map & whatever triggers you want. It is the map from my TiltedVille. Feel free to use it! :)
Editor 2.scn is the simple triggers to get resources (Ebony in that case) imported here (http://www.tiltedmill.com/forums/showthread.php?t=13348), that I just edited into Azeem's thread. Before I only posted images.
So, we are now up to date.
