Finally! Someone noticed.

The map is a replica of the map used in The Deception (which ran about 3 years ago on Cesar20's French site and has just concluded its return season on CBC) and no-one noticed it then either.

The second Deception, The French Deception, had France as the centre island and no-one noticed that either.

And there was I thinking it was too obvious to comment on! I like the representation of Ayer's Rock in the centre of the lake too :D

Very enjoyable scenario BTW (aramann persuaded me to try it) :)

It's not really supposed to be Ayers Rock (which by the way is now called Uluru- even though the location is pretty close to spot on.)

Ah yes, I did know that actually. It struck me at the time as a nice little parody because of its location (which probably says more about how my mind works :rolleyes: ), but I guess it's just one of those happy coincidences :)

Thanks JuliaSet :) I think I contributed about 6 lines to the script, but goonsquad has generously acknowledged the general tips I've posted in the editing forums on scripting. But to me, scripting is just a means to an end, and it's the ideas that make the scenario. Personally I think goonsquad has done a fantastic job with the Final Deception.
