I hate all the posts asking about release and beta dates.. so i'm not making one of those...

However, I'm *really* *really* *really* ready for a new game. I'm gonna quit my MMO at the end of this month I think. So...

Bring it ON!

It's going to be a tough few months, Homegrown. Maybe we should try hibernation.

LOL Bring it on, indeed! :Dhttp://www.tiltedmill.com/forums/images/icons/icon14.gif

Though I wouldn't try hibernation... The suspence and all the speculation is where the fun's at, I think. :)

You could always do what I do and play Pharaoh all over again. ;) Or you could listen to the MP3s in the download section and want the game *even more*!

I just bought Startopia (again... lost my old copy). It is as far from the old Pharaoh as you could possibly get, while staying in the same genre. It is a really innovative and unique game, and especially so looking at its age!

If you want to try it in multiplayer, let me know. I only have ADSL, and live in Europe, though.

I love the new mp3s so far!!! I'm still working on beating Zeus, I want to completely beat it before the CotN comes out! I just got Poseidon too, so that should keep me busy until it's released. ;)

I'm also eagerly waiting for CotN, and wanting to go to Egypt already, got to myself an old game called Egypt 1156 B.C. - tomb of the pharaoh. It's a kind of puzzle/mystery game in 3D world, but in a ready-made city, no building here. It all begins at night, and me started off by descending into Seti I's tomb. Awesome place! I wish we could visit the tombs and pyramids we will build in CotN, too!

Only now I've got one trouble: there seems to be too much light here, I mean too much daylight in my study! The kind of curtains I've got don't help much. Can't really play at night and wouldn't want to wait a month! Do I make silly problems for myself? :p

I can't remember if you can do this in that game or not, but go into setup options, and raise the gamma or brightness setting. I have the same problem on my computer. I have that game!! It is sooo awesome!! I have the second one too, Egypt II The Heliopolis Prophecy. What I like most, was exploring the tombs, looking at all the heiroglyphs! That was so awesome!! And real historical facts right there in the game too! Good luck with it! :)

I'm trying to get Egypt 2 to work on this lap top. Mailed Tech Support yesterday and got a reply today, now have to implement it. ;)

I do think though that there is a limit to how much suspence one can take. i think i will near be pulling my hair out by release date!
i make it a point not to wait too long for anything for this very reason!
hmmm i suppose patience is a vertu.

I just had a horrifying thought. Right now I am unemployed. I bet any money that I'll get hired for a job and my first day will be the day of the game's release!

I don't mind really, I could live with it if they'd release the game a month or two later.

Haha, I fooled ya'll! Can't wait either.

Yes, indeed! On my way in passages and rooms of the tomb I keep stopping to read supplementary info, to admire wall paintings, hieroglyphs and I quite forget why I'm there: to save my farher's life! ;)

My house and land are being taken under the eminent domain laws of Texas for a new highway expansion. (well, they are paying for it so it isn't technically "taken"). Anyway, when all is said and done, we have to move when they demand we move. The "when" part is still up in the air since it depends on a number of factors. As soon as I read your comment, Eddy, I told my husband that I knew exactly when all the planets were going to align and TxDOT would demand that we move! When CotN is released and I will HAVE to pack up my computer! Now that is a horror.

I also told him that if that happens, once we get to where we are moving, the computer will be the only thing unpacked until I beat the game :)

Funny, I didn't get a smile out of him when I said that.
