HELP for the problem runtime error Vritual C++

I have the same problem with the runtime error.
[Vista home premium, 6600, 2GB RAM, NVGeforce 8800 GFX]

I searched yesterday in the Internet for the Visual C++ ....
I don't know why, but after this update the problem was fixed:

Download the vcredist_x86 [Visual C++ 2005 Redistributable Package] at the Microsoft Download Center.

Thanks for the tip. I tried it but unfortunately the game still crashes my big cities.

I've just played half an hour building a new town, no problems. I reload the game and load my big city and within 5 minutes the game crashes.

It's such a shame, because I really like the game, but if I can't make big cities there isn't any point in to keep playing.

Exact problem here! Does Tilted Mill Ent. and EA know that this is happening to their new game that was just released? I hope we get a working patch soon (not one of those home remedies or rumour mills that everyone starts suggesting but never works).
