I was playing around with the random map parameters in the XMLDB and I set them all from 1 to 99 except water was 0-99 and elevation range from 1-120.
The game crashed several times with the sliders set to extreme levels, especially the altitude and elevation sliders set on low and the water set on high. I don't know if it's the same error or not that I'm getting when the graphics freeze with the game running in the background since I have to hard reset but it acts the same otherwise.
