Hi Fellas. Great Site.

OK. Obviously I don't play SCS anymore (The random crashes). Not till these crashes are sorted out with a trick that works or an update.
I did search the forum for any remedy which I haven't already tried, so far I haven't discovered anything new in the forum (My apologies if I may have overlooked).

My question is:
Is there anything which took care of your random crashes?

Attached is my DX system Info file.

22128

Thanks.

Ed.

just a question do you play fullscreen or windows and do you use
official WHQL drivers or modded?

i have resorted to using Extreme-G drivers 163.75 from Tweakforce
for XP tho this game really made me mad. BTW i use WinXP 64 and Vista
ultimate 64 so this could be the reason why i can play for long times or now
i crashed for the first 5 days till i said forget it and uninstalled every driver
including chipset drivers for my mobo.

Thanks for the replies.

I tried both, full and Window screen modes, none makes any difference.

All my drivers are up to date, including; DVD, Chipset, GPU (163.75) and sound.
I haven't remove the game just yet but, I refused to play with these random crashed, not like this. Too many crashes will corrupt files and damage hardware/software.

Thanks. I will read it through.

I did read. The problem is, I didn't even used farms. Its rather, when my city grows to a population of over a thousand; the entire game will hang, first with looping sound, after couple of key strokes, or the 3 finger salute, system will tumble.

that there are more than just the farms that create freezes when being used and the city switches from lets say, fun city to default city or vise versa. Ill work on compiling a list of the buildings that cause freezes and post here.

OK. Thanks in advance.

I'm sure we can do this without EA or TM. Its just sad, isn't it?

Thanks.
