I have just got the game caesarIV and I like it alot. I tried to go online and it said i need to update to the latest patch. I came to this website, and downloaded and installed version 1.2 and tried playing again. There was an immediate message saying "This application has requested runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. Please contact the application's support team for more information." Anybody know what to do?

WIth the CD in the drive, right click on the actual caesariv.exe file in the install folder on your hard drive. Select Launch Analysis. Let it finish. Find the C:\AnalysisLog.sr0 file and put that in a zipfile. Then generate a email with "Caesar IV" in the email title to firstname.lastname@example.org. Attach that zipfile to it and send it. SecuROM wil examine it to see if there is any conflict on your system with the security software.
Do this even if the game was working before. Sometimes a update will update the security software as well and may result in a conflict you didn't have before.
If they say you don't have a problem with SecuROM then youhave another prograa or application running on your system that is conflicting with the game and you'll have to find it. Or one or more hardware device like a drive, ram, etc. might be having a a problem
