EA has announced a whole new range of Sims game that are currently under development. Something very interesting is that My Sims will also be available on PC soon!

New Sim Game Titles:

A new SimCity game called - SimCity Creator
My Sims Kingdom
My Sims Party
Sim Animals
Sims Next-Gen (i.e Sims 3)


The first title, MySims Kingdom, will hit Nintendo DS and Wii between the beginning of October and the end of December 2008, with the PC version of MySims arriving within that same timeframe.

MySims Party, meanwhile, is expected to ship on Wii and DS some time between January and March 2009.
SimAnimals is slated to arrive by the end of March 2009.

A specific release estimate for SimCity Creator was not provided, with Vrabeck only noting it would arrive before the end of EA's 2011 fiscal year in March 2011.

well, 3 years is a long time.

If you look at the time gap between SC3000, and SC4, there was four years, and the gap between SC4 and SCS was five years.

if i understand it all correctly, SC4 was a very succesfull game in stores... SCS was at half price after the holidays, when it was only in stores for two!!! months, i have never fellt more angry then wen i saw that a game wich i installed, " played" for an afternoon, fell asleep meanwhile, de-installed in the evening, and threw out of the window the other day! wow was i p#ssed off!

and then i paid 60!!!!!!!! Euros for this KUT(dutch for c#nt)game!

That actually gives me a thought. If they were to use a procedural generation system like Spore in the next simcity we could create some VERY interesting cities. Imagine being able to theme your hundreds of buildings however you wanted. That would be FANTASTIC!

is tm gonna make this one but it sounds like ea sims is gonna mAKE this one. Huh. I hope it be good then. I think city builder games need a redo though. if this game were a re-hash of sc4 i would not have got it. scs is ok just not hard enough and the patch wont work so I guess i will use it for a chillin game. He he.

I don't expect this to be that great honestly, the die hard SC4 fans are already p***ed. at EA, and if all the food monte cristo is giving the SC4 fans taste good in the end (cities XL), it will make matters worse for EA.I certainly won't buy simcity creator.As far as SCS, i don't know what is wrong with patch 4, maybe a memory leak?And oh well, i'll just wait for patch 5 to fix the leak, and the meanwhile, i now have my own full copy of Ceasar 4 to play with, which just came in the mail today:D

I think that if SCS wasn't the SCS like we known i didn't buy it but i hope that Creator is SCS power 10... :eek:
