these servers seem to go down all the time... isn't there anyone there monitoring them? seems pretty shady to me.... i'm a bit disappointed to be honest.

First, to keep the extra load down on the board. There are already existing threads for this sort of post, so try to use them. No need to create a new thread everytime it happens.

If you had looked, a the new thread was created before this one, you would have seen that I have already reported the problem. It's just a matter of when they check their messages, it is the weekend afterall. Usually they restart the servers right away.

They tell me they have no way of telling when the game stops responding. Evidently it's not the server because they supposedly replaced the server Caesar IV was running on a few months ago. They just maintain the hardware, they don't deal with the software running on it; for that they have to refer back to TM, which wrote the online code.

This is a recurring problem with Caesar IV online, you'll just have to be patient and get used to it.

Alerting them about the server is not something I have to do. I do so voluntarilly.
