I've been playing Colonia Lindensium, available here:

"There are many trading opportunities out there, and now the barbarians of this land have been (more or less) subdued, you can expect a peaceful time as you build the city. You should note, however, that the Governor of Britannia has his own rules about the provision of services - some facilities will only be permitted when your city is large enough. Good luck!"

I'm struggling with the delay to services being added. I've only had access to Odeums and Theatres and I need more entertainment, a library and hospital to improve my villas and culture more.

I have a population of 3,000, a treasury of 120,000, a culture rating of 50, prosperity rating of 39 (lots of pleb housing to make all that trade), security is 100 and favour is 80. What are the requirements to get the next levels of education/entertainment/health?

Hi Dussander!

What you are probably lacking is more equite housing. Enough for 400 equites at least. Better still, go for 600 ;)

Happy gaming and thanks for playing! :)

Yes that might be it. I didn't add more equites because I didn't have enough jobs for them!!

Thanks.

good way to eat up equite jobs?
build additional actor/gladiator/etc. guilds. Or if you're allowed, an additional circus. ;) Then of course there's always temples and shrines, can never have too many of them!

I'll introduce an animal training guild and a drill yard, which I don't need, but I can always mothball when I have jobs for them.
