I noticed that at least one of items in the artwork section has snow. This sent my agile mind (ha!) into frenzied activity!
1) Will there be seasons?
2) Will there be different terrain types (you know, the classic deserty, foresty, mountainy, chilly, jungly, etcetera-y) or are you sticking to the standard Euroforest?
3) Will Mr. Chips be there?

#1. Hope so, will be nice to venture out into the snowy wonderland, or the cool crisp Fall, or under a mid-summer moon.. (for that matter, is there day and night adventuring?)
#2. I hope that there will be an editor..
#3. .. :)

I would request one scenario with terain made of clouds and rainbows populated entirely by unicorns and forested by lollipops with chololate syrup streams. We can use candy canes for swords and peanut butter cookies with the little criss-crossing fork tine indentions for shields.

I think seasons are a must.
I really like Settlers for that. They make good use of the calendar year and how it influences game play.
Tracking game would be easier in the winter. You might run out of grain for bread, but you will have plenty of venison. :)

I would like to know the detail of the farming , what types of crop you can farm , whether you can make wine from grapes , or whether you can brew ale!
different crop rotation based on land fertility , also how the seasons come into play with the crops.
and how the hunter gatherer for the village succesfully hunts prey from deer and venison to game birds, can they set snares for rabbits and what not !
that would be awesome
