My suggestion would be to update your video drivers to something in 2008. If there aren't newer drivers available because it a laptop there is an ati mod tool which will allow you to install standard video drivers. Your skating very close to very low free space for windows to use to move files around which can cause a system choke which would lead to crashes.

I think you glanced at the wrong drive. I have 14 GB free on C.

I'll google around for that ATI tool. It annoys me that Dell's drivers are a year old.

Thanks.

Sorry but 14gb of free space once you take out the space needed by the page file is not enough free space for windows. Windows likes to have 20% free space to move files around. If you free up just an additional 6gbs you'll be surprised at the performance improvement.

Please read thread "Freeze makes game unplayable" where I offered the same solution about free space. That member was very happy with the result.

Really? Windows sucks. I'll free up some space.

That ATI mod tool seems to have done it. I installed the most current driver and ran for 45 minutes with no crashes.

Thanks, I had no idea there was such a thing out there. I thought I was stuck with whatever driver Dell put out there for me.
