Bolgo The Madd

One a wind swept morn, forlorn and distraught,
the village was quiet, melancholy, overwraught
The trolls had come swiftly, daring in dark night
Each citizen did rally, heroic in the fight.
The dust had settled, the due crisp on the field
Stories would be sung of those who did not yield
He battled most bravely, yet saw no rising light
For his Lord, Guy the Fortuneteller gave his life

PS: In reference to line 5
"... the *due* crisp on the field."
This is intentional. Think about it.
