View Full Version : Defense, slow?

Some non-attack items have a speed on them. Are the speeds, then, a modifier? If I have a 10 attack, very fast weapon and a 5 defense very slow piece of armor am I slower at attacking than if I were wearing a simple "5 defense" item (no speed given)?
Or is there some concept of a defensive speed?

it makes you attack slower. I have no idea how much slower. Try equipping and unequiping the item during a fight and you can tell.

I also have been wondering how this works. I've tried experimenting some, but it's hard to tell. At this point I'm trying to avoid using an items on a character that have a slower speed rating than the character's weapon.
As far as I can tell, equipping a shield with "Very Slow" may do one of three things:
1) Reduce Attack Speed by a certain amount
2) Reduce Attack Speed to Very Slow
3) Has no effect on Attack Speed but rather affects block speed
