Repetitive Requests

In one game, I had the king request access to Souls (I think) three times in a row. Of course, the second and third time were easy Fame for me, since I cleared the area the first time. There is some logic in repeating requests if the first one ISN'T fulfilled, but not if it IS fulfilled.

I haven't had that happen yet, though I do think the requests for gold and food get a little tiresome. Why does he never ask for human support? It'd be far more challenging late in the game if he asked for a level 6+ archer/craftsman/guardsman/fletcher, et al., and (as I often argue), more realistic. I personally would really enjoy that kind of thing, especially since I get fairly attatched to my party members. Yeah, that doesn't make sense.
