From reading many posts, it seems this game may be somewhat similar to Majesty's concept. I have been looking for a great Majesty-like game for years. I still play Majesty everyday, it is that great. Seeing the abilities of the heroes and what they decide to do keeps me hooked.

Honestly, it is not much like Majesty at all. None of your followers go on adventures of their own and you have to do most of the legwork yourself. There are no taxes, no build times, and no sewer ratmen.

It's a good game by its own merits, but a Majesty-type game it is not.

I have heard that there is a Majesty sequel in the works. That's for another thread, however.

LOL I still play Majesty, what a fantastic game. I agree with you, there are "Some" Majesty-Like elements in it, but I wouldn't classify it as Majesty-Like. Tilted Mill could "Easily" Clone Majesty with this engine however, and that'd be a great idea.

I consider it more like Settlers than Majesty, but even Settlers shares some Majesty aspects.

Yes I read about that, good news indeed. Although if they deviate too far from the formula, I fear there could be issues. Majesty itself was as close to perfectly tuned as you can get.

In fact, Majesty is so well tuned and balanced that if 2 players in multiplayer go the same skill chain, the game will rarely if ever resolve from a stalemate. That's some amazing balance.

Although one thing I like they will put in the new one is the ability to "Group" like minded peons into fighting clusters. One aspect that annoyed with Majesty was that a Knight would run off to fight 20 mobs, and have to rely on the good will of a healer and support classes to wander around and help. I'd like to be able to toss together quick groups - WITHOUT - it becoming a huge micro-management hell.
