losing saved games

it may take one or two restarts but eventually I have to start a game from scratch because I'll lose any saved characters..what causes this?:mad:

I haven't heard of this before. Are you low on disk space?

Do you mean restart your computer, a character, or Hinterland?

Also, what do you mean by lose? Are the files gone or just not showing up in the list of characters?

The resume game function doesn't show...Also I have to start a new character...However this morning it seems to be ok..I have the Impulse version..plenty of disk space:)
