I´m confused. Suddenly the nomes are getting crowded. I liked the 6 cities per nome distribution. This left space for further city foundings while everyone was in touch with fairly even markets. Now some new players are set in the middle of a busting market while other are set to the (current) edge of the nile.
Wouldn´t it be better to go on with placing new cities 6/nome at the upper or lower end of the nile? This way the new players would have about the same starting prequisites, a market where they can buy and sell to fitting amounts and prices (no one can afford deals over 100 bread at start, higher levelled cities will only make such deals!) and about the same chance to BUY their second city in the middle (if they want)? This would also give the players a chance to channel down wares from bigger markets to the ends as new cities will grow there, which would make a good business between starting and playing with the high numbers, I think.
