I think it would be a good idea to have the ability to make a particular item I want to trade persistent and not just a one-shot deal on the Market Current Listings menu.

Instead of having half dozen items listed I could have just one item listed that would not disappear after someone bought it from me.

This could be made an option so there could still be one-shot trade items listed in the case of the players that may only have a small surplus that they want to get rid of and then stop trading in that item.

Having hundreds of players (potentially) listing dozens of listings all for the same item is going to make scrolling through the list a long and tedious process in the future.

I can already see this as a growing issue, Keith.

Now I would not want discourage players uploading to the Market, some kind of control might become necessary. Perhaps we should only be able to have two uploads per item (definitely not just one) for each player. This would enable one small & one large, or whatever.

I wonder if time limits would also help? An upload only lasts so long & the game auto rejects after awhile & sends your items back to you?

A quantity would be a better solution. Basically, instead of posting 5 units of henna at 5 bread each, and doing that 5 times, you'd offer "5 lots of 5 units each at 5 bread each." Then people could buy one lot, and there'd be 4 left, etc.

This would be the best of both worlds, as I doubt there will be all that many cases where people really want to sell *everything* they have of a commodity.
