because it sure seems like it. I've sent probably 15 scrolls out and nobody responds. :( who do I have to kill to get some henna?

very few people reply to me even when I am not asking for anything
looks like they are jerks who don't want friends ;)

the social side of the game needs some work

I know exactly how you must feel. I was 'crying' here the same thing, and one kind person sent me a trade offer. While I kept sending moretrade requests people started to reply. Keep sending scrolls, also for more far away neighbours. :)

One thing to check when sending scrolls is if the player is active or aware of how to play the games. Don't waste time sending scrolls to people who don't have a level 3 palace. Another good indicator is any market activity. I got 3 responses for the 10 messages I sent yesterday. Its not like there is any cost for sending messages besides your time, so the rewards make it worthwhile.

Also make sure they're motivated to respond by making a fair trade offer. I don't know how the non gold/emerald/cedar people got trade agreements before, but with today's changes that should change as well. I think for the moment most henna producers are going to have a pretty good market since henna demand went from next to nothing to nearly everyone needs henna like now.

I just put 25 henna up @3/per in Amunsheni. Need oil, willing to trade 1 for 1.
