Only reason to not make smallish orders currently is laziness - mostly buyer's laziness. Smaller orders are more "flexible" for the buyer, so will generally be the best to do.

With a limit of something like "1 + 2 * level of market" or "level of palace + 1 * level of market", or similar, people should have enough to sell what they want, but still stop them from spamming the market.

Another way to encourage larger orders would be to add a base fee (ie. same amount no matter the size of the order) before the listing tax. Could be based upon the contruction costs of the good.

What problems do you have with small bundles? The reason why people want small bundles is not just laziness but efficiency. Without a lot of bread margin at this stage of the game, buyers don't want to buy in huge chunks. What would they do with all that raw material?

The only problem that I see, gameplay wise, is that it's harder to browse markets when there are a lot of bundles offered. That should require an interface change (like "hiding" and "unhiding" lots of the same price or the same seller), not a gameplay change.

As people have more money the units per lot will increase. At this point in the game, most people have less than 500 bread at any time and they don't want to blow it all on one thing.

5 and 10 are the way to go right now.

Larger market listings will naturally be encouraged later, when there is demand for it.

For example I have a positive bread income over 3500 per day, but I still dont require 10+ of anything at once even though I can afford it.

Right I have to ask. How on earth can you get 3500+ Bread a day. thast 7000 wheat needed to satrt with. Have you got a level 21 field and bakery or what ?

I just need to know.

the general amount you see down in the summary numbers ie the green data, is your profit made per hour. to find the daily production you look in the specific shop and in the brackets it will say somthing such as

Producing 132 per hour (3168/day)

of course to get 3168 bread you need to not eat any and let it accumulate ie no buying, for 24 hours. this of course is impossible due to the fact that your workers pay/food requirement has not yet been accounted for. (thats what the little summary is best used for imho.)

By positive income I mean total earnings after costs, not simply what I produce on my own ;)

My bakery nicely keeps me at 60~90 positive bread production a hour depending on what my trading/manufacturing requirements are at the time.

Rest is from trade, which can potentially net me up to 5k per day.

Unfortunatly the bread is also going out the door at the same speed to support some friends
