Random events ?

Apart from the starting position, it seems that there is no random events. Could the dev add a few of those, like things based on the weather for giving a slight bonus / malus for wheat (basic flood, locust swarms, ... things like that).

It's not for the bonus / malus that this is interesting, at least to me, it's for making the game a bit more "alive". To give some surprise to the players.

Yes there are such things planned.

I recommend the "long (!) feedback..." thread in this regard.
That thread in general is very good ( :D ) and random events were mentioned in a post by Reed in it.

It also is in danger of falling to page 2 of the forum so a post by you could help to keep the thread on page one...;)
