View Full Version : Bug? Jewelry shop consumes gold after emeralds exhausted

I had a single laborer working in a jewelry shop, starting with 5 emeralds and 10 gold. Came back about 6 hours later to find 5 jewelry, 0 emeralds, and 4 gold remaining. Gold continued to indicate an income of -1.

I would think that consumption would stop when all the necessary raws aren't available. Is this behavior intentional?

I would say thats normal behaviour. The jewelry shop as soon as it produces a Jewel gets a raw material of each good. It took one gold and then found that no gemstone was avaliable. But the gold will stay there until you get some more emeralds and start the Jewelry shop up again. You haven't lost it. It's just sitting in the Jewelry shop waiting.

The only way you could lose it is if you had to destroy the Jewelry shop to build a different kind of shop. That would just be a spoil of war.

I am sure this is not a bug.

The indicator is wrong if it is not consumed though, and that sounds like a bug to me.

I had the same problem and already posted it. I believe it is a bug.
