Well, that happened to me once, so maybe it wasn't so stupid. And every one remembers the morning that All of the ships in the Nile sank. That morning I was hours from starting my second city, what a relief that I was warned of the problem.

No, the stupidity was that nothing was actually lost. I was reading a message telling me that goods were en route as saying that they had arrived. Total brain fart on my part. There was no lost shipment.
