Temple Upgrade

Ever notice that when you point to your Temple, it sez Temple 1, but if you click on it, the Temple screen only sez Temple.

I wonder what an upgraded Temple will do?

No, you can´t. just dreaming here ;)

What about blessing the neighbouring nomes? And getting a (stacking!) blessing from them?

The amount of blessing would increase by 2% each upgrade - from 10% at level 1 to 50% or more by level 20.

Once you get to a level 2 temple you have to start supplying it labourers to form a priesthood. These would be workers you could not release again but their devotional duties would trigger a sporadic 1% boost to a random productive plot /or/ your next upgrade is 2% cheaper /or/ they spend their entire time playing senet and are just a complete drain on your economy.

The kicker would of course be you couldn't raid the temple if you suddenly wanted to find extra labourers from somewhere.

What makes you think that a Temple upgrade that is not installed at the moment has anything to do with Blessings? ;)
