Cannot play game OFFLINE via Steam

Hi,

i cannot play offline via steam engine, i tavel a lot without connection and love playing this game but whats the point if i always need an internet connection to play.

how do you play this game offline.can you play it offline at ALL.

seem like a very dodgy thing to do, purchase a game, install it and then not be able to play it.

can anyone help please Denis.

Well, I finally bought it over steam for this precise reason...so I could put steam into "offline" mode and play while on travel without internet connection.

And it's not possible ? :(

That is strange, just to make sure I started a game off line and it works without problems.

hi all,

silly me, what i should have done was go online, load steam online mode, then tell it i want to play offline mode, exit steam, reload steam in offline mode and play hinterland.

if you don't go online with steam first and tell t you planon playing offline, then it won't let you play the game, you get network errors and steam crashes to desktop.
