Has anyone else noticed?

No more Bronze, No more Cedar, No more Leather.

I admit I share the guilt. And now I check Bronze just went from 8per to 20per.

I knew there'd be a price spike. I was lucky enough that I happened to be online when military went live. I snagged a bunch of all 3 resources in the 8-10 price range!

Heh, traded nearly all my bronze and leather for emeralds this morning. In fact the ships are still on their way ;)

Yes, I have noticed everything spike to 9-10 *1 MINUTE* after the update.

Yeah, i thought everyone was stockpiling for about a week now, I was surprised how quickly the price spiked.

I started selling off my stockpiles :( To upgrade all three of my palaces at the same time.

So while I was buying I clicked on an item and it had already been bought. Anyone else experience this?

Everyone is sleeping in the deep south. I am waiting for my cedar to go up:cool:
But not sure anyone down here can actually afford the military yet.

I just sold 700 units of leather at 10 bread each in like... 10seconds :P
I've a level 6 tannery, producing 41 leather/hour, which means that at this rate I'll have an income of +/-400 bread/hour just from selling leather! More if the prices go up in the next days (which i think they will...)
Life just got a lot easier at this side of the Nile :D

The bread cost means I won't be producing troops from two cities after all, at least not for a while - so half my stockpile just went on the market. We'll see how long it lasts.

I've been living off the leather and bronze for two weeks and trading them away for the third city goods. However, since it looks like at the moment that any soldiers I did create would just be a huge drain on my economy there is no point building an army until I can do it in one gulp, level 2 barracks at 2.25 an hour just ain't gonna cut it.

You can readily produce 50 soldiers in 24 hours from level 2 barracks, and that ought to be adequate to secure a site - 150 vs. <100 should manage it. I doubt all the monuments will be taken by tomorrow. ;)
