Better don't guess what other people might be thinking and using that as an argument to give your own opnion about someones' behaviour. You are doing exactly what you are telling Tink not to do. Do not post about about subjects not immediately related to the game, or expect to get into trouble again.

And BTW, I think you are wrong. This is a relevant thread, especially in the light of the constant threaths of players leaving the game over the scarab thing. I had wanted to make the same remark, Tink just beat me to it. The future has never looked so bright for NO! :D

There has been a level 1 city in one of my nomes that is completely inactive [greyed out] and has never been active in all the time i have been in that nome [maybe 4 - 5 weeks] - the inactive city was there a long time before I moved there - nome: Amunhedj 41S

It says it has been founded October 30th 2008. :confused:

So it's there since the beginning of the open beta, but has never been deleted. :eek:

Just to add - as of now there are 4767 players - and since the scarab upgrade 5 [five] out of my 20 allies on my list have gone inactive [orange and red....]:(:(:(

Yes - with no market sales - no market purchases - only 30 laborers because it is only level 1.... [obviously no donations to the gods at all - maybe this is why Hapi is so angry in the area;)]

Can't say that this wasn't expected. Many people don't want to pay for the game. Others might want to, but can't. Still more don't want to play because it gives unfair advantages. Yet more stop playing because there is nothing new to do and no reason to pay.

Sure, the number of players might grow higher over time, but I doubt the "donations" made will grow evenly with that.

I also get the feeling that the friendly atmosphere that currently runs through the game will also slowly dwindle away (read: Tink).

Yellow means inactive for more than three days - which means they haven't been active since *before* the latest update... They haven't even seen the scarabs yet ;)

I used to complain about this dude in my first incarnation back in 52N. He is still there and still done nothing but helps the total number of players. All my 3 nomes have gone down one or two players last 24 hours and total is just over 4700 now.

Actually, yellow means "active WITHIN three days". I never really understood what that means, exactly... "Active within three hours" makes some sort of sense. But 3 days is pretty broad. It doesn't say inactive for more than X days which'd be more useful I think... oh well.

It doesnt update properly.

When I said i was leaving the game, I put my account in vacation mode.
Like an hour later i put it back to active mode to set something to upgrade (:P). Just recently, like today, I noticed that my account says vacation mode and i'm a "blue person" but i can still edit my cities. i set to active mode and it fixed it.
