If you have some shipping, try visiting the trade wall. There you should be able to acquire sandals in exchange for whatever goods you make, generally you will get a 1:1 trade for another luxury good like perfume/jewelry etc or a 2:1-3:1 trade for a luxury material like henna/basic goods like bricks/pottery/baskets.

If you don't have any shipping, try visiting the trade wall. There you should be albe to acquire one or more ships worth of cedar in exchange for a promise that you will return some agreed upon good once your ship/s are built.

Alternatively/as well try upgrading your market it may be that your current market is to small to see your local leather producers market places. I found that I needed an L5 market to get some jewelry at a reasonable rate, currently I have an L7 market which is sufficient to see a wide range of goods and prices although I intend to increase it as and when.

And if all else fails it helps to include your in game name and location in a forum request, some leather producer might just send a scroll your way with an offer.
