For 10 scarabs I am willing to send you

a) 20k bricks, 3k baskets and 3k pottery

For 25, that, and:

b) 10k of any luxury good (you can choose the break up) + 10k limestone

Your warehouse may not hold this much, hence we can arrange for a timely trade

The server is young, and this is a great way to reach top 100.

Won't do any good, samrat, you can't tranfer scarabs from one account to another. Probably just for that reason, no one should be able to buy rank.

Abana, I will let the person into my account to make the transaction

It's trade like any other (and a damn good one).

I am kinda stuck coz I have no scarabs, so why not offer goods in exchange?

This poses a question to me. ~~REED pls read~~

I have 3 roommates playing because I pestered them into it :) so far 2 are having fun and the 3rd is about to stop playing. Any ways, the 2 that are playing are both going to school and have little funds. If I were to log into their accounts and buy scarabs using my paypal account, will I be banned based on the fact that I would have bought scarabs for 3 accounts from the same paypal account?

 A reasonable question. If you are really concerned, PM Reed with your explanation/question. Personally, I would just do it on the grounds that most companies try not to go out of their way to discourage getting money. There are plenty of families who play, and I am sure mom and dad have used their account or credit card (since you don't really need a pay pal account) to buy scarabs for the young'ns. :)

Rameez, if they cost nothing, would you buy me some?

More than half the people in this world of 6.7 billion people earn less than 2 USD a day.

And besides, having no card and no paypal can be a barrier in itself*

* Only a percent of the world owns these 3.67 billion cards (NYT)

PS: I think my offer rocks...to produce these many goods will take a good month. Going for 'nothing'

Anyone who earns less than 2 USD a day probably does not have internet access.

Well, I am not sure of the numbers but i would bet that those same people that make $2 a day do not have many items we take for granted like Electricity and Running Water and lets not forget about the food issue.
I think I remember hearing that it is 27M people in Africa alone do not get enough food to eat? :(
I also believe that those same 27M people make no money and for sure less than $2 a day.

23.8% of the world has internet access, but of it a minuscule amount (most are in developing countries) has financial instruments to buy scarabs.

I am happy to report I have found a kind buyer, who is less interested in the goods than help me play. But I intend to do my part.

I am afraid the construction is illegal. From the Terms of Agreement:

It is against Company policy to allow Scarabs, or other in-game items, to be sold on auction sites or otherwise and the Company will request that sites respect this policy.

Seems like TM is breaking its own rule.

Now I know if you live according to the rules, you cannot play the game, and if you have a friend with a PayPal account who kindly offers to give you a few scarabs for your birthday, little harm is done, but soliciting for such transactions here on the forum, and against in-game payment, IMHO is clearly against company rules.

I am not the company, not its representative, but I would like to have an opinion of somebody who is. If TM allows this, they should change their rules.

Exactly. Should we get a forum going for people to ask for transactions on this then? Just my suggestions btw...

Joshofet is saying that its against the rules STOP
Therefore we don't really need a forum for it STOP
Maybe the community could do with more clarity on this issue STOP
If there is no reaction from TM we can assue that it is alright STOP
Therefore we need some input STOP
Anybody STOP STOP STOP ? ? ?

I know that.

A forum once Reed declares Scarabs can be transferred to your other world account.

Maybe the community could do with more clarity on this issue STOP

True,true...

If there is no reaction from TM we can assue that it is alright STOP

No idea where they are...

Also, why did you put STOP at the end of every single sentence?

I do not make useless posts, I make, in some cases, useful posts. Why dose everyone hate me so much?

Fixed that problem a long time ago here (http://www.tiltedmill.com/forums/profile.php?do=ignorelist). ;)
