Questions about the retail version

I understand that the retail version is fairly new version of the game.

From what I've seen the games had several updates before the Orc Lords update.

But I haven't seen any links for those patches; so that makes me wonder.

Will support continue for the new version with retail patches? Or will the retail disk users not see content updates as those get from Steam?

One can assume that when the patches come out you can get them on the game's site or on the GGE website. :) Not absolutely sure though.

Unfortunately the old patches aren't linked here because the game was available only by Digi-downloaders which would have them linked via the update button.

In my short experience with this game (I also bought the retail version from Gamestop) there appears to be NO patches for us who bought it retail. Either it works on your computer or it doesn't. There are many in these forums who have problems with the game and have done all this file uploading only to still not have the game work properly on their systems.
