Newcomers to SCS and Destinations, like me, frequently create a city and then have no basis for judging whether they did a decent job of it. The basis used for evaluating the city of course varies with the type, size, and other criteria, and to say the least, the opinions of the judges. At the least, the number of Sims, how happy they are, and how solvent the city is would be part of the criteria. Depending on the kind of city, financial statistics could be added to judge things like tourist business, and many other factors.

Those of you who have been around the game for awhile are the best qualified to set (and post) the criteria.

Those who are do not embarrass easily could post their measurable performance on a shared bulletin board. Aesthetics would of course be more difficult to evaluate.

It would give the rest of us a target.

What do you think?
