First of all, hello to everyone on the TM forums.

Recently i joined NO community, and i've been impressed about how many goals this game can have, defined by the users themselves. OCC, for example.

So i've decided to go and try something else for myself, denoted by the acronym SWGI, meaning Single Worker Going Immortal.

The plan is:
1: Using only one worker at all times to achieve immortality.
2: Use a lot of time and hopefully end it one day in future.
3: This is an OCC derivative. There will be only one city.
4: NO GIFTS will be accepted!
5: The Warehouse and the Palace will be the only buildings upgraded. Few levels of The Exchange too, depending on the needs.
6: Wheat Field, Clay Pit, Market, Bakery, Brickworks, Pottery shop, Basket Shop, lux shop and raw materials pit will be left at lvl 1.
7: Construction of the Temple.
8: Barracks of any kind will not be constructed. (Still thinking about it)
9: No monument will be taken, therefore, all the Limestone will have to be traded for.

At the time i'm writing this my palace lvl is 3, it's getting harder now, since i have to start trading for raws. If you do some of the math for it, you will see that this is a VERY long term plan, and i'm probably insane. Any tips are more than welcome.

My name is Tanya, on both Sabah and Theoris, feel free to poke me at any time. On Sabah i'm running the SWGI, and playing regularly on Theoris. Funny thing, landed on Kohl under Osiris in both worlds, and i voted for Kohl to land on few weeks back on the poll.

I would like to request some assistance, in the terms of putting my specialisation points, so that with the rules mentioned up i make the most of it. Clay might be a good idea for the first one, since i'm going to use it alot, bricks, and maybe raw mat that i have available. Any thoughts on that one?

Ty for reading this. :)

Wow, you plan to play for a long time, don't you, you have to keep us updated! I think that you should allow yourself to upgrade the market, And I would build jewelry, cosmetics and perfume shops eventually, with an upgraded market, you can usually get clay, reeds, bricks baskets, sandals, and sculpture at below cost, at least some of the time, I would rethink that restriction on the barracks, outposts can be a good resource.

I think the hardest part will be to not forget to log on every week or so to prevent your account from being deleted. :D

I don't really see the point in upgrading your palace, but not providing work (and bread) for the newly generated labourers. Immortality was introduced to give players who had reached max palace levels (in all cities) an interesting way out. Of course you are free to turn that upside down, but I'm afraid you will die of old age (in real life) long before you reach immortality. Did you ever do the calculation?

Yeah, with just one worker, you wouldn't need to worry much about reaching the warehouse limit or running out of a material.

One worker produces 2.4 bread/hour. To go immortal you need the equivalent of about 2,000,000 bread, so that will be about 100 years, only for immortality, not including palace and warehouse upgrades ...

I didn't do the calculation, i can always try and switch to regular play. Nothing wrong in trying it out. About forgetting to log in, hard to imagine for now, since i'm running Theoris at the same time, with some nice friends there.

The real issue i predict is getting bored with it, and just simply quitting.

I think that I would modify the number of workers that you allow yourself.

If it takes well over 100 years real time, I wouldn't think boredom will the foremost issue preventing you from enjoying the game, let alone finishing it. :p

ya you could do in 29 days if you sold scarabs there in high demand I think

Now, where would the fun in that be? :p

FYI-
My spreadsheet indicates that there is over 5,500 days of labor to get to a level 22 palace. (not including limestone.)

This does not account for the gods, or any other discount, but it does assume you get 100% efficiency- so lux goods are only 7.23 and 9.272

This is just to get to level 22.

Just thought you would want to know.

With one worker my rough guess is it doesn't pay to make donations to the gods ;)
