Tink is charged to have repeatedly attacked an innocent bystander who, on top of all, was on vacation and therefore had no way being able to respond the cowardly attacks.

(The quoted monument is already taken care of and will be rendered to the right hands at 1:00 pm EST server time today - everyone welcome in 0S who feels like eyewitnessing)

He did that while the forum and Sabah communities had tried to work out a form of peace with Tink and end the animosities.

Under those circumstances, his deed was even more shameless and disgraceful.

The prosecution pleads guilty and calls for a conviction of 2 months. 2 months without Tink being allowed to hold a monument in Sabah.

The terms of conviction will be executed by my local outlets in Sabah. If convicted, any of his efforts to get a monument will get impeded.

You, dear forum community, you are the grand jury. Should he be convicted to 2 months of monument possession prohibition, or not?

Neither Ears nor Arnold have any market activity. Only Ears has ever donated to temple. Together the two accounts compliment each other. Neither has purchased scarabs.

In Theoris the "puppetmaster" (what he called him/herself) is sunburn. Sabah is still a mystery.

The proof is in the pudding, Ears. I only sent harrassment attacks at JuliaSet in Theoris ~ Her active account. Again, due to her lies on her CBC forum & in our nome room about me hiring everyone that ever took her monuments. This was also after abana's "team" had reduced both my L5 monuments to rubble.

I could have easily taken one or both if I really wanted too. I could have gone CBC abana on her, since I had been at Immortaliy status for a very loooong time.

I did not.

Guess who I learned the Immortality/delete account exploit from? Yup, another CBC clown. He predicted/threaten that it would soon happen to me. It did! LOL. CBC is the forum that "claims" to be the nicest forum that ever existed. Oh wait, HeavenGames claims that title ~ "Heaven" as in Angels from God. CBC clowns are also HG clowns. Why assume he was attacking a nomemate? Looking at Tink's 3rd picture, there is an empty bandit plot at bottom right, which if I remember correctly was the plot he held up to a few days ago. Much more logical that he took that one.

Also GirlGirl appears to now be a deleted account, as that plot has gone back to bandits. So GirlGirl - from the profile - started on Sep 13, took 2 monuments with one level 1 city and then deleted their account?

Tink is smart enough to realize that this is entertaining soap opera for many to read, but and while in many ways he deserves some level of poking and prodding for his posts- nobody deserves such blatent organized attacks that you could call harrasment.

See, in general, we very much rely on this sort of calling each other out on the forums to keep nasty behavior in check and so we can find out who the trolls and griefers are. The problem is there have been way too many false accusations and shady activity surrounding the people attacking Tink, many who are doing so with malace not understanding that drama is what makes Tink so special on our forums.

Personally, I think this poll and mock trial goes too far and borders on harassment- particularly for new players who might think this kind of behavior is okay. As long as Tink is having fun with it, and so are the rest of you, I don't mind letting it go on as it is entertianing on some levels. I don't want to create some special immunity bubble around Tink, and niether does he.

No, sincerely, I think it's time for a little explanation.

The mock trial, the bragging threads... at the end of the day, there's just one person here who took them serious: Tink himself. And maybe some others, remarkably those who feel connected to his side. Interesting observation whatsoever.

For me, and some people here I connected with, all of this was just great fun. For me personally, it was the only fun I have playing the game. Don't get me wrong... the basic idea, the structure of the game are almost perfect - the design has only one huge weakness: The direct competition / PvP dilemma.

Okay, the game gives you lots of competing options: to build nicer cities... to build them faster..... to build more boats..... to have more goods to offer.... whatever. But it does not give you the option to challenge your power directly against your competitor. There is _absolutely_ no PvP! Yeah, I know you will say, there is PvP and everyone can fight over monument plots bla bla bla... Not! You do that twice, then your PvP is over, and most likely over forever! Absolutely no option to challenge your power against the power of other players in a direct way! Dear Jeff, with an option to arm wrestle this would be the best game ever designed. Without it, as it is now, it lacks one essential function: to really challenge the player.

So you see? I missed being challenged so much that I had to build my own PvP scenario. Because: The game does not provide one, period. And I chose a PvP scenario against someone who has been shouting for more PvP all way long thru the forum walls... everybody here could witness it (and what a pathetic irony... now the same person is whining about it... what da hell :confused: :p ) So at the end of the day, it was easy to build purposes against Tink.... his alleged love of PvP.... JuliaSet.... CBC....

The military operations ingame... the verbal clash in the forum.... it all was just part of the game. I didn't take any of these threads serious.... just part of a PvP challenge that had to be created artificially, as this game, while providing all the other requirements for a fantastic game experience, does not provide it.

(As I said in a recent post: Ingame, I'm a really mean, trigger happy person, but in real life, I'm just a nice guy. Unlike ingame, where I'm a chess player type always besting the competing players by all means) :D

So, let's conclude here. I would be extremely interested to know where this game is headed, to decide either to stay or to leave in the long term. Do you want to attract comfortable people, who found the game to be their kind of escape from their worries and ideally want to play it without worrying about anything, without mental challenges, and intend to enjoy a living-happily-ever-after-ingame-existance? In other words, who long for the design as it is now?

Or do you want to attract players who enjoy to be challenged?

So at the end of the day I really have one essential question: What is your solution to the PvP dilemma?

A few thoughts.

For those of you who seem to have forgotten, or are new, much of this is Drama for Drama's sake.

Glad to know you are both in the same boat, in terms of having fun. Problem is some people think you really are gunning for each other, and now there is some 'splash damage' going on. Going after each other is great. Taking out all monuments in a Nome because of one person in it is not cool. Good way to drive off new players who have no idea what is going on. Now if everyone in a Nome was against everyone in another Nome, that would be a different story.

Tink would never ask for help, especially from us. Matter a fact, if he was offered it, he would refuse and he probably finds it irritating that I am seeming to support him in any way. (It interferes with his Robin Hood or lone wolf personna.)

Either one of them would fix the last big problems this game has.

Yes, Tink, I do have a problem in Sabah that you cannot retaliate. And don't come with this "I've won the monuments back right after the attacks" bulls/hit. That's ridiculous. What I mean is, I am having my own monuments that I built with my own hands, they are the ones you would have to go after for retaliation. But you can't. Because you have 2 monuments. And of course I don't have my own monuments in the first place. Because if I would, there even wouldn't be any reason for you to retaliate, because I wouldn't have attacked you.

Again, I couldn't give a crap about all this drama. I'm just annoyed that my low-key way of playing the game has now turned into some sort of involvement with your idiotic drama. You can raise your defenses, or accept the temporary loss and rebuild, or join the club and start marauding yourself. It's not what you like best, but what you hate least I guess. :cool:

No game can be designed in a way that there is no possibility of using the rules such that (a large) part of the players will see it as foul play. New rules will only shift the playing field. The less competitive the game, the less the chance of that happening, but I've seen players cheat at solitaire ;)

Reading through this thread - I guess you do not have any abilities that enable you to play chess or any other game where people battle cerebrally rather than use brute force and violence - or any ability to debate....

I think that anybody who wants to play a PvP game plays Ikariam or any other of those sorts of games where the long-term players just grief and bully the new ones... who cannot do anything about it at all....

I think that if players who grief others were removed and their IP addresses were blocked and nobody could use a proxy to play this game - then I think that a lot more people would play this game....

I have played this game hoping I could get by cooperating with others to the goals, thing is only one out of ten wants to cooperate. You have to be lucky if one is near you. I had cooperating players almost always 24 hrs away, is that ideal, no. I have several times tried to make it easier and cooperate with my own neighbours. I was one time lucky, but in all other instances I just got nothing back or even just hostility. You can frickle my dickle, this game sucks as it is. No incentive at all for cooperation, just egotistic trading and marketplay. No incentive at all for PvP either. This game is for vegetables, just running the upgrades until we finish the season and go for the harvest(immortality).

I think that if players who grief others were removed and their IP addresses were blocked and nobody could use a proxy to play this game - then I think that a lot more people would play this game....

This is a game for tired people who like to avoid being challenged. All your building comes automatically with time, you have nothing to do for it but wait. It's a tired bored people's game as it is, no action, no challenge at all. It could be fixed so easily, the magic word is PvP.

It's really a shame I can't prove it yet, but it fits your personality as I have perceived it sofar rather well. There is a player called Tinkerbell, in his second account Tinkerbell Returnz, then a player turns up called Tinkswing and starts singin praise of TR. Now I can believe a sycophant will try to mimic his master, but I can also suspect this just could be a second account by TR himself. As he always uses the accusation of doubleaccounting against his adversaries, I say he is so eager because he does it himself, a classic pot and kettle scenario. We will see, if my suspicions are true, he will reveal himself, he ain't that smart. In fact, he is a little bit under par as wits go.

Maybe those who are following along would like to be informed that Tink keeps griefing and harassing my Theoris monuments. He of all people, who continuously accuses everyone else of griefing who uses military options (after being the biggest advocate of military PvP for years and years). Ain't that amazing?

However, he is one of the worst strategists I've ever seen.... never succeeded in any of his military actions, or shall I rather say attempts....sad attempts :D
