I've been playing the city builders since Caesar II and loved every one of them, including the new games by Tilted Mill. I joined Nile Online last week and love it, although I'm still figuring it out haha.

Aye, and we, as I speak for many of us....or mayhaps I should only speak for mineself, lol. :::curtsies::: I am Antikuity, originally, but now am known as Antiikuity and I welcome ye to this Nile.
To figure things out, please to read the Primer and the Wiki. After that, ye are more than welcome to join us on the General Wall to ask any other questions that ye may hae.

Haha I totally forgot about that! I do miss the separate battle map from Caesar II.

Me too. The battle map was problematic though. Some computers had trouble caching the game so it could load the battle map part of the game and the game would crash. So they decided to eliminate it in Caesar III. The province map was a nice idea too.

My favorite City Building game is still Caesar II, I could never forget those three magical words. I once made a Cotn 'nostalgia' mod where all the voice files that play during the game were replaced with the file Keith just posted.

I decided the mod was somewhere between funny and sick/cruel so I never uploaded it. :eek:

Just imagine the horror of it.. :o
