Your storm system is heading my way, so doubt we'll be able to see it here, but hoping for a break in the clouds...

You will notice that during a full lunar eclipse the moon appears to be red in color. This is caused by the red light waves passing through the earth's atmosphere are bent inward into earth's shadow and focus on the moon then reflected back to earth.
