So I was playing through the grand campaign (AWESOME game, BTW! :) ) and I was close to getting the prestige needed to beat it. I started building a large mastaba and because I'm a decorating fool I decided to pave the burial site with plazas, make it look pretty. I had already done this with the previous Pharaoh's mastaba after it was completed, but I did this one while they were still piling on bricks.
Anyway, when the last bricks were put in place (I wasn't watching) the mastaba site mysteriously disappeared, leaving only my beautiful checkerboard plazas! I had to scramble to put together a tiny mastaba somewhere else before my Pharaoh kicked it! Anyway, after some time (after that Pharaoh's death) the tomb mysteriously reappeared at the site (sans plazas now) with a few bricks missing. Sorry, I haven't the patience to check if it's a reproducible bug :(
As a side note: is the ability to pave underneath existing buildings a feature or a "feeeature"?
