What Windows version?

Did the game install?

What happens if anything? "Doesn't run" doesn't tell us much.

Is your video card DirectX 9 compliant?

Does it support Transform and Lighting (T&L)?

Do you have updated drivers for your video card? Sound card? CD/DVD drive?

Do you have at SONY CD/DVD drive?

Have you tried turning off your virus scanner before running?

I ran into a problem with securom myself. I usually make backup images of my games so I don't have to swap cds all the time (I play lots of games). When I tried to use Daemon tools to run the game from the image, the game gave an error message about securom. Not a big deal as I did buy the game but there definitely is some additional copy protection in the code.

ouch

Securom sucks, it's not at all secure and it always causes problems. I have yet to see a game with it that didn't suffer these consiquences.

I believe later releases of SecuROM prevent the use of virtual drives and images, IIRC. I think I read that on their website a while back. I'm not 100% certain, but you can read all about it there.

virtual drive emulation had nothing to do with this game not running. i wasn't going to say how i got it working but if you really want to know, i made an image of the game using a program called BW and another little program called BW tweaker..the rest i'll not post here as i don't want to cause any trouble for myself...if you really need to know pm and i'll give you the info you need...sorry guys i just can't support illegal copies..i own the original game so it isn't hurting tilted mill

in other new's i've had a good look at this game it isn't bad at all infact..but i do prefer top down as opposed to 3d view.. ;)

Thanks for sharing your solution and for your integrity. Good show! ;)

P.S. Lately I've been mouse-wheeling to full-wide-angle and right-click-dragging mouse pitch to look top down during design. But I still zoom in for detail :D
